St Johns House Hospital
Palgrave
The construction of a new 32 Bed Medium Secure Unit at St. Johns House Hospital, Palgrave, Diss, using traditional construction methods comprising single storey wards and two storey staff areas.
Construction is concrete trench fill foundations, pcc beam and block floors, masonry walls, aluminium windows, timber truss roof with part clay roof tiling and part fibre cement covering; all finishes, services, fittings, drainage and external works.
The three buildings were constructed simultaneously with individual site managers responsible for their own building but working in close conjunction with each other to minimise costs and maximise order and delivery of materials and services timescales.
